We offer a wide variety of services for the citizens of Marshall County. Some programs require participants to meet set income guidelines.
- Family Case Management (Healthy Moms/Healthy Kids)
- A case management program serving pregnant women and infants, with the goal of giving every infant a healthy start in life.
- WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Nutrition Program
- A nutrition education and food supplement program designed to give pregnant women and their infants and children up to age five a sound foundation for optimum growth and development.
You may qualify to take your WIC Classes on-line. Please ask your WIC Nutritionist about this option.

- Immunizations
- Immunizations are provided as a service to Marshall County residents to assure access to immunizations for vaccine preventable diseases. Fees apply for some services however vaccines required for daycare or school entry are not denied due to inability to pay.
To receive immunizations, children under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. (Call for information on requirements for a non-parent or guardian adult bringing a child.) Please bring immunization records to clinic.

- Lead Screening Program
- Lead testing is available for children (age 6 months to 6 years) to identify and treat lead poisoning in an effort to prevent complications and optimize learning, growth and development.

Other Community Health and Prevention Services
We offer collection of specimens for laboratory analysis and monitoring of chronic diseases. We also offer seasonal flu and pneumonia immunizations.
- Communicable Diseases
- Communicable diseases are reported to the Marshall County Health Department for follow-up, testing of contacts, and prevention education in coordination with the Peoria City/County Health Department staff.
- Tuberculosis Program
- Tuberculosis screening and follow-up are available to Marshall County residents. Testing is done at the Marshall County Health Department.
- Adult Health Clinics
- Adult Health Clinics are available periodically to Marshall County Residents. This includes bloodwork (cholesterol and diabetes screening), blood pressure monitoring, medication monitoring, and general preventative health education.
- Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP)
- IBCCP promotes awareness of breast and cervical health and provides no-cost mammography, Pap tests, diagnostic procedures, and related medical office visits to uninsured women regardless of income.
